Excuse Me For Living

Charming, rich Dan Topler should have had it all; but after a suicide attempt, the med-school dropout is sent to a posh rehab-clinic where he is put under the care of an experienced psychiatrist, Jacob Q. Bernstein. As part of Dan’s therapy, the doctor insists that his patient attend weekly meetings of a senior men’s group he leads at the local temple. Dan must comply with the plan or face time in prison. While Dan’s so-called friends continue to ply him with drugs, alcohol and women, it is his attraction to Laura, Bernstein’s daughter, that opens the door to redemption in this story of humor, drama and romance.
